The AUG is an Austrian bullpup 5.56mm assault rifle,
designed in the early 1970s by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG (formerly
Steyr-Daimler-Puch). The AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr—"universal army
rifle") was adopted by the Austrian Army as the StG 77 (Sturmgewehr 77) in
1977, where it replaced the 7.62mm StG 58 automatic rifle (a license-built FN
FAL). In production since 1978, it is the standard small arm of the Austrian
Bundesheer and various national police units.
The rifle has also been adopted by the armed forces of
Argentina, Australia (accepted into service in 1988 and manufactured by
Australian Defence Industries in Lithgow, the F88 Austeyr model is also in use
by New Zealand), Bolivia, Ecuador (since 1988), Ireland, Luxembourg, Saudi
Arabia, Tunisia (introduced in 1978), Pakistan, and (since 1988) U.S. Customs
Service (now the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency).

An airsoft gun of the highest quality made by Tokyo Marui. It is characterised by the excellent quality of the used
materials, fitting of the parts and operation – which is nothing new in the
case of this manufacturer, which already is a legend within the world of
airsoft.
The airsoft gun is made of high quality ABS and
metal. The whole
body and the pistol grip, just like in the case of the real steel, are made of
plastic. The contoured, for a more comfortable grip, magazine is also made of
plastic. The
butt stock is rubberised, which gives it anti-skidding properties. The set of RIS rails, the barrel and small parts
are made of metal.
The RIS rail which is mounted on the top enables to
easily mount any given optical sight. The inclined side rail and another rail located just under the barrel
allow attaching any optoelectronic devices, laser pointers, flashlights or
tactical grips.
The two-stage trigger mechanism operates just like
in the real steel as well. Pulling
the trigger halfway produces semi-automatic fire, pulling the trigger all the
way to the rear produces fully automatic fire.
Unlike most of the rifles with the bullpup system,
this one is quite friendly for the left-handed users. Placing the magazine behind the trigger mechanism
allowed using a longer barrel (which in return improved the accuracy). At the
same time, the airsoft gun has retained its great maneuverability, which is
further facilitated by the usage of a shorter barrel when comparing with the
standard version of this airsoft gun.
The airsoft gun is equipped with a handmade High
Cycle motor, which guarantees a good basis for the prospective tuning.
