The Walther P99 is a semi-automatic pistol developed by the German company Carl
Walther GmbH Sportwaffen of Ulm for law enforcement, security forces and the
civilian shooting market as a replacement for the Walther P5 and the P88. The
P99 and its variants are also made under license by Fabryka Broni Radom.
Design work
on this new generation sidearm began in 1994, and the handgun was presented in
1997 with series production commencing that same year. The weapon was first
introduced chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum.
The pistol
is used by the German Police in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate
and has been ordered by Bremen,
Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein,
the Polish Police and the Finnish Army's special forces and military police,
where it carries the designation PIST 2003 (Pistooli 2003).

The Walther P99 airsoft gun
made by Maruzen is characterised by the highest quality of manufacturing. The
excellent fit of the parts, original designations and smooth operation, make
this airsoft gun a real treat not only for James Bond enthusiasts.
Furthermore, the airsoft gun
has a fully functional firing pin mechanism - in this case the stopcock in the
magazine and the stopcock release located on the top of the lock.
The sights have white dots
painted onto them, which improve their visibility. The rear sight enables for
horizontal adjustment.
The P99 is powered with Green
Gas. The gas container is located inside the magazine. The blow-back system
used in the airsoft gun provides that shooting the replica imitates the
operation of the real steel equivalent. After firing the last round the
slide stays in the rearward position. The main frame and the slide of the airsoft gun are made of durable ABS. The gun in
the front part also has a rail, to which one can mount the small tactical
flashlight included in the set.
The manufacturer also provides a replica of a sound suppressor which is also
included in the set. Despite the fact that this is only a replica,
thanks to a layer of foam inside the suppressor, it is able to weaken and
dampen the sound of shots.
Besides the suppressor the set
also includes a small flashlight, which we can mount onto a special rail on the
frame of the airsoft gun. An interesting addition is the adapter, which
enables mounting accessories that comply with the RIS standard.
The whole is packaged in an
aesthetic and durable case with the possibility of padlock.
