The Dragunov sniper rifle (formally Russian: Снайперская винтовка Драгунова, Snayperskaya Vintovka Dragunova (SVD), literally "Dragunov's sniper rifle") is a semi-automatic sniper rifle/designated marksman rifle chambered in 7.62x54mmR and developed in the Soviet Union.

The Dragunov was designed as a squad support weapon, since according to Soviet and Soviet-derived military doctrines the long-range engagement ability was lost to ordinary troops when submachine guns and assault rifles (which are optimized for close-range and medium-range, rapid-fire combat) were adopted. For that reason it was originally named "Полуавтоматическая винтовка Драгунова" Dragunov's Semi-automatic Rifle.

The airsoft gun is made from metal and ABS. The pistol grip, the base of the cheek pad, buttstock pad, a magazine, the stock and a few other internal elements are made from ABS. All the other elements, like the outer barrel and the inner barrel, the body, buttstock and a few internal elements are made from metal. 

The top of the cheek pad is rubberized. Thanks to this, the risk that the buttstock will move is minimized. 

The stock with a metal butt folds to the right side. The set includes a M120 main spring. The muzzle velocity approximates 320FPS on the standard main spring. Once the main spring is changed to the one included in the set the muzzle velocity approximates 420FPS.  Thanks to the spring operation system, we have the possibility of a quicker and cheaper power tuning.
